i should try and do more through that, its just harder to find information on how to use it. that was a lot easier for me to grasp, thats how i made that video i linked. Ive tried using playmaker for unity to try and get visual scripting to work out. im just struggling with puting those things into action now. I have a lot of experience in art music and storytelling, so i have all the artsy creative parts down. i can usually look at a more basic script and understand what does what, but i wouldnt be able to write it or know what needs to be changed. i'm better at reading it than writing it.

Tldr i need learning material that isnt out of date and isnt difficult to undertstand. it doesnt have to be a youtube tutorial, i just prefer something thats explained simply because of the adhd thing Help a girl out and suggest any learning material at all thats dumbed down enough for my smooth brain to comprehend lol please save me some pain. im literally starting to give up on my lifelong dream of making video games cause this stuff is so hard lol if this is all i can achieve after this amount of time its just not worth the anxiety this stuff is causing me haha i tried recreating it and i cant even figure out what i did to make it lol. this is the most advanced thing i've ever created in unity LMAO i have never achieved anything greater than this. Like look at this progress video thing i made. i've been trying to learn unity for over a year and have gotten no where. Ive got crazy adhd and anxiety so using my whole days worth of energy just to learn something incorrect is causing me a lot of frustration. i tried following the tutorials on the older versions of unity but i always run into more problems. in almost every single case it ends up being because they're all just hella old and the information they give just isnt valid anymore. i rewatch the video, follow the steps, read the comments.
